Messages with the liquid help visualize how your body is doing at the moment based on your heart rate variability (HRV).

First, we get your RR intervals and compare them with standard, non-personalized values of HRV parameters (RMSSD, SDNN, etc.). As a result, you see a chart message that looks like a histogram. Then, our proprietary algorithms run your data through a bunch of formulae and compare them to hundreds of millions of measurements taken by 10+ million users and to your personal baselines. In addition, the algorithms add as much context as possible, considering everything you've already told us: previous measurements, workouts, tests you’ve taken, etc. As a result, you see personalized Stress, Energy, and Health scores as a liquid message. It helps you visualize your state at the time of measurement.

Your chart message and messages with the liquid are like two different snapshots of your body’s latest feedback. The chart message compares your data to scientific standards, while the fuel tank compares it to your past data and others like you. So, they might not always match up.

The amount of liquid shows your current focus level: the more liquid you see, the higher your focus.

The liquid's colors reflect your overall well-being — a combination of your stress and energy levels. The top part of the liquid is your energy. If it’s green, you’re doing great. Yellow signals that you’re not in fantastic shape but are still doing ok. If it’s red, you may want to wait a few days before taking on a huge project or running a marathon. The bottom part reflects stress. If it’s blue, you’re in a mellow, low-pressure state. Green means that you’re under just enough stress to get things done. Yellow and red, on the other hand, signal an elevated stress level.

The boiling also reflects your stress level: the more bubbles and waves you see, the more stressed your body is.

The particles flying in and out of the liquid illustrate your energy trend — whether you’re saving energy, using it, or have struck a balance between the two.

When your measurement accuracy is high enough (95–100%), the results on your screen closely reflect what’s going on with your body. Learn more about how to take accurate measurements and what impacts accuracy.
