You can connect your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to Welltory and talk with it about your data. Once connected, it can pull up Welltory's analysis of your:
Health: your HRV compared with your own norm, resting heart rate during sleep, and any unusual measurements.
Energy and Stress: how your energy changed during the day, your physiological stress level, and time spent in harmful stationary stress and rest.
Sleep: sleep score, duration, sleep stages, and heart rate at night.
Activity: steps, active minutes, calories, and cardio fitness, plus your workouts from today and yesterday.
HRV measurements: the results of each measurement you took, as the Heartbeat Report or Nervous System Snapshot.
History: for Health, Energy, Stress, Sleep, and Activity, your assistant can look back up to 60 days and see trends for up to 90 days.
The connector only reads your data. It can't change anything in your Welltory account or app.
Try to finish all the steps in one go: if you stop halfway, you'll need to start over.
Before you start
You'll need:
An iPhone with the Welltory app. Android isn't supported yet.
A Welltory Care subscription.
Welltory allowed to read your Apple Health data.
Your Welltory sign-in details at hand: you might need to log in to the web version of Welltory with the same account you use in the app.

In the Welltory app
After you subscribe to Welltory Care, an AI assistant section will appear in Menu → Science Lab.
It shows:
The connection status: Connecting means the app is linking up with Welltory's MCP server; Connected means your AI assistant can read your data.

You can set this up in the ChatGPT app on your phone or in a browser.

Claude
You can set this up in the Claude app on your phone or in a browser.
On the Free plan, you can add one custom connector, so if you already have one, you'll need to remove it first.
On your phone, open this link. The connector form opens already filled in, so go straight to step 4. Or open claude.ai/customize/connectors, or tap your name in the lower left → Settings → Connectors.
Tap + Add → Add custom connector.
Fill in the form:
Tap Continue → Add, then Connect. You'll see a pop-up asking whether Claude can use “mcp.welltory.com” to sign in: tap Continue.

Gemini
Google currently allows this only for people 18 or older with a personal Google account. Work and school accounts aren't supported yet. Keep Activity must be turned on in your Google account, or the connector won't work.
You can set this up in a browser on your phone or computer.
Open gemini.google.com/customize/connectors, or click Customize in the menu on the left, open the Connectors tab, and click + Custom.

Wait a few seconds. When the Save your custom app window appears, click Connect.
Start a new chat and ask about your Welltory data.
That's all. You don't need to change any other settings.
Grok
You can set this up in the Grok app on your phone or in a browser.
Open Menu → Settings → Connectors.

Start a new chat and ask about your Welltory data. The first time, Grok may ask you to confirm your age: choose your birth year, tap Continue, then Save. You won't be able to change the year later, so check it before saving.
That's all. You don't need to change any other settings.
Perplexity
Works on paid plans only. Set it up in a browser on your phone or computer: the Perplexity app doesn't let you add custom connectors.
Open perplexity.ai/account/connectors, or click Plugins in the menu on the left.

Name:
WelltoryMCP server URL:

Start a new chat and ask about your Welltory data.
That's all. You don't need to change any other settings.
Your first question
Before you ask, open Welltory on your iPhone. Then try something simple:
"How am I today? Check my Welltory data."
"Why is my energy low today?"
"Is my HRV within my normal range right now?"
"What does my Welltory data say about last night's sleep?"
"How has my sleep changed over the last 30 days?"
"How has my energy changed over the last two weeks?"
"Give me a summary of my week: sleep, stress, and activity."
"Compare this week with last week."
If you connect other sources to your AI assistant, e.g., your calendar, you can ask about them together. For example: "Look at my calendar and my Welltory data for the past month. On which days does my energy drop after a busy schedule?" In the same way, you can compare your Welltory data with any other source you connect.
Welltory scores are wellbeing estimates from consumer devices, not medical readings. For any health concern, please talk to your doctor.
If something doesn't work
Most of the time, the fix is simple: your assistant gets your data straight from your iPhone, so Welltory needs to be running there. It works when Welltory is open or minimized, even with your screen locked. If you swiped it closed, it can't answer. If the assistant can't reach Welltory after a long break, just open the app again.
What you see | What to do |
The assistant says Welltory didn't respond, or waits about 30 seconds | Open Welltory on your iPhone, check your internet connection, and ask again |
You can't find Welltory in the chat | ChatGPT: type @ and choose Welltory. Claude: + → Connectors → turn on Welltory. Gemini: type @ and choose Welltory. Perplexity: type @ and choose Welltory, or click + under the message box → Connectors → tick Welltory |
Your AI assistant says it can't see your data | Ask directly: "Use Welltory to check my data" |
It asks you to sign in again | Go to the connector settings, disconnect Welltory, then connect it again |
The data is empty, or it says there's no access to Health | On your iPhone, check that Welltory is allowed to read Apple Health data |
The data looks off, or it's empty while the app has data | You may have used a different email or sign-in method than in the Welltory app. Disconnect Welltory in your assistant's settings, and to connect again, sign in the same way you do in the app |
The assistant says there's no data for a day | That's okay: your iPhone simply has no data for that day. Try another day |
Gemini doesn't use Welltory | Check that Keep Activity is turned on in your Google account |
