Your body has been talking to you all day. Your heart rate climbed during that meeting. Your stress dropped after a walk you'd already forgotten about. Your sleep last night quietly shaped how today is going.
Most of these signals slip past you. Insights catch them for you — and show you exactly where to find them in your data, so you can start spotting these moments on your own.
What Insights are
Insights are personal observations on your Today Screen, just below your main metrics. Each Insight shows a single fact about your body right now — something worth knowing today.
Open the app and you'll see something like this:
Tap the Insight and it takes you to the exact spot in the report where this fact lives — the chart, the number, the section it came from. You see how the observation was built and learn where to find it next time on your own. Each Insight is a small tour through your own data.
Five areas of your life, one Insight at a time
Insights cover the five things that shape how you feel every day:
Stress — what's wearing you down, when it's draining you most, and what's actually working to bring it back down.
Sleep — how last night actually went, and what it's costing you today.
Activity — whether you moved enough, whether your movement actually helped you handle stress today, and how it's adding up to long-term gains.
Health — the early signals your body sends before you feel sick or tired.
Energy — what's recharging your Battery and what's flattening it.
All of this so you can finally see what's draining you and what's bringing you back, what helps keep stress under control, and how to feel a little better day by day.
Always something new
Every time you open the app, a new Insight is waiting. It cycles through what's relevant to you right now — based on your data from today and yesterday. So if you slept badly, you'll see an Insight about sleep. If your stress climbed past the danger zone, you'll see that.
Stress and recovery episodes — the moments worth reflecting on
When something significant happens, you get a special Insight that shows you the exact event — with a live chart of how your heart rate and stress moved through it.
It looks like this:
These are the moments that matter most. Long stretches of building stress and real periods of rest are exactly what add up to whether you end your week energized or wiped out — they shape how much fuel you have left for everything else.
And learning to notice what pulls you into a long climb of stress, or what finally lets your body settle into rest, is one of the most useful skills you can build with Welltory. The more you connect these moments to what was actually happening in your life, the clearer your own patterns become.
That's why we ask you to add a few words to each episode while it's fresh — what was going on, how you felt, who you were with. It takes seconds (you can even just talk to your phone), and every entry is saved to your Journal. Over time, all of this becomes the material for real analytics: we'll connect your physiology with your context and show you, what tends to push you up the stress curve and what brings you back. The more you log now, the more powerful the picture you'll get later.
Why Insights matter
You can have all the data in the world and still not know where to start. Insights solve that. They give you a quick read on what's happening right now and each Insight is a way into the app: every tap takes you to the chart it came from, so you start to learn where things live and how to read them.
Over time, you stop waiting for an Insight to tell you something. You'll know to open the stress timeline when you feel a wave coming on, check your sleep balance when you wake up off, glance at your activity zones after a run. Insights are how that habit gets built — one small tour at a time.
Open Welltory tomorrow morning. The first Insight you see is what your body wants you to know today — and the doorway to finding the next one yourself.
