At the beginning of 2025, Google will no longer support connecting apps directly through Google Fit. Instead, Google is introducing Health Connect, a new platform designed to facilitate secure data sharing between your favorite apps.
To ensure you continue receiving comprehensive health and wellness insights in Welltory, it's crucial to configure access settings in both Health Connect and Google Fit for Welltory and any other health apps you use regularly. You can learn more here.
While the integration of apps through Google Fit is still operational, you can do it as follows:
Download and install both Google Fit and Health Connect on your smartphone.
Open Data in the Welltory app.
Select the required category, for example, Activity.
Scroll down or tap Sources.
Tap icon of the app you need. If the source requires integration with Google Fit, Connect via Google Fit will be indicated.
Tap Connect.
If Google Fit isn't connected yet, you will be prompted to connect it.
Choose your Google account and allow access.Go to the source app's Settings and enable data transfer to Google Fit.
